Gurmeet Kaur is a poet and critic living on Wurundjeri Country. Her work appears in Kill Your Darlings, Mascara Literary Review, The Suburban Review, Ambit, Cordite, Sydney Review of Books, Peril, The Victorian Writer and elsewhere.

She is a recent member of Malthouse Theatre's Emerging Writers Group and Footscray Arts Centre’s West Writers Group. Gurmeet is a recipient of residencies and fellowships with Varuna Writers' House, Footscray Arts Centre, City of Maribyrnong, and is a 2023 New Critic at Kill Your Darlings.
